We loved our short stay in our camper. The vineyard was beautiful and the scenery was incredibly peaceful. The staff & Landry family were so kind & welcoming. The wine itself is top tier. We'd love to visit again. Just note, this isn't a campground. There are a handful of spots to hook up to, but it's meant to be for very short-term stays. The cottages would be a great alternative.

Hi Callie, Thanks for the review. You stated so many lovely things about Landry Vineyards, we appreciate it. We do not advertise in our description that we are a campground; we are a vineyard and winery. "Landry Vineyards Grape Escape RV Sites." I'm not quite sure why a 4 star with all the lovely things you said about us. (if there were not issues, then that brings down our ratings)
We have a total of 12 camp spots with electric and water. You are correct, it is a short-term stay destination. We are not a campground or long-term park.
Thanks for staying with us.

Landry Vineyard was a quick overnight stop but couldn’t have been more idyllic. We purchased a bottle of port upon arrival and enjoyed sipping on it at the edge of the grape vines, under the stars. The vineyard is close enough to the highway for easy access but far enough away. The personnel at the vineyard were friendly and welcoming.

There are many signs to help know which site and how to get there in this large property that is split by a main country road. We stayed on the lot across from the Vineyard’s tasting room at Site #5.
The site was gravel and level and very nice. We had electric & water hook ups, both of which were solid and clean.
Very pretty area and Vineyard. The host also was very accommodating and quick to respond with any questions we had.

We really love this place to stop on our trips across Louisiana. Only 3 hr drive from our family, it give us a perfect first night stop. We there with a delay from a tire problem, so we were to late to go to the tasting room this time. As soon as we parked, the owner drove up to make sure we knew there was a power issue and they assured her it would be on in the next 2 hours. We were very happy that she let us know, and it wasnt a problem to use our generator if there was an issue where the power didnt come back on in time. It was a quick hour and we had power to use without needing the generator.
Very beautiful place to relax at and have been very pleased with our stays.

We spent the night here in our 36-foot motorhome along with our two yellow Labs. From pulling up to the tasting room, where we were warmly greeted, to the wine we enjoyed on the patio, to the lovely evening outside, and our early start in the morning, everything was perfect!
We did a wine tasting of six wines, then shared a bottle of Sangiovese and took a bottle of Mouvedre for the road. Emily was so helpful to me as I selected wines based on what we know we already like.
Overlooking the vineyards -- what a beautiful view! And the grounds are excellent for walking dogs and admiring the scenery. We were very pleased with the setting and hospitality.

This a gem in hiding in N. Central Louisiana! The site was amazing - nestled in the back of a vineyard, on the top of a hill. Originally, our site said it was set up for motorized RVs with the hookups set to drive into the site. However, when we arrived (with our 30 foot TT) we found hookups on BOTH sides of the site, making it that much easier for us to hook up. Speaking of hook ups, our site had full hookups - water, electricity, and sewer. The winery was fantastic! We took a tour of the facility, guided by the winemaker and owner. Well worth it. The wines are great, so much so that we left with 6 bottles!
If you’re looking for a weekend getaway, or even some place to stop for the night while on your journey, we highly recommend the Grape Escape!

We've stopped at Landry Vineyards on our travels, at least a half dozen times. This alone can tell you how much we love it there. This time however, was even better! We were able to time it to coincide with a Saturday afternoon/evening event there at the vineyard and it was spectacular. We met up with Libby Landry upon arrival and she was an incredible host that got us situated at a spot right near the tasting area. We opted for the water/electric hookups and within minutes, we were seated and enjoying live music and fantastic wines. I tried one of their best sellers, a blackberry merlot and was not disappointed and my wife's favorite (chocolate raspberry) is her favorite. Later on, a bagpipe group showed up and played out under the portico and the crowd (which was huge) thoroughly enjoyed their performance. As the evening wound down, we just enjoyed the wonderful views of the vineyard and knew in our hearts, that we'll be back again. If you haven't made the stop at this place, you've truly missed out. Stop and see Jeff and Libby and the beautiful place they've built.

Hi Mike, Thank you for the great review, we appreciate you taking the time to write it. We are so happy that you were able to stop again and enjoy an afternoon of music. We have one more Lagniappe Sat. music this coming Sat. for our spring schedule. We will resume again in the fall, Sept. Even though we do not host music during the summer, we are open and host tastings and tours. You can view our full schedule online at the website. Hopefully you can make another music event, we have two different types of events: concert with the full band or the Lagniappe like this past Saturday, one man playing under the pavilion. They are both very different but a lot of fun. We are pleased to know that you enjoyed some of our wines, the Blackberry Merlot is the most popular with our Semi-Sweet wine drinkers, however, we have 30 different wines with GREAT Dry Reds, Dry White, made from the Blanc Du Bois grapes that we grow on in our vineyards and a very light and refreshing Rose'. We are so happy that you enjoyed the views of the vineyards, we are blessed to have lovely sunsets and rises. Please do come again. We appreciate the review and your visit. Safe travels till we see you again. CHEERS!!! Jeff & Libby

Overview: A Bucket List Stay! Our Harvest Hosts stop at Landry Vineyards in West Monroe, LA, was quiet, relaxing, and memorable. This family-owned vineyard, nestled in rolling hills, offered a peaceful escape. The welcoming staff made us feel right at home, from the first communication to the wine tasting. Campsite& Activities: We stayed at a spacious hookup site with water and electric, offering stunning vineyard views. The peaceful campground was perfect for unwinding. The Saturday evening concert was a highlight, with live music adding a vibrant and memorable touch to our stay (check their calendar for dates). The tasting room’s 6-wine flight from 30 varieties, with a souvenir glass, was a treat. The tasting room staff were incredibly helpful with guiding us through the experience and helping us find places in town. Staff& Experience: Welcoming staff made us feel at home, from check-in to wine tasting. Booking through Harvest Hosts was easy, and the purchase expectation was reasonable—we bought a bottle of wine. Overall: Landry Vineyards was a delightful stopover while passing through West Monroe. The scenic site, lively concert, impressive tasting, and warm hospitality made it a Bucket List Stay. If we pass through again, we will definitely book again!

We stayed at Landry Vineyards on a Saturday and they were quite busy. This probably accounts for why one of the owners(Libby Landry) was a bit curt. However, the other owner(Jeff Landry) was very friendly. The young woman who was working at the vineyard was also very nice. We decided to pay for a full hookup site although we ended up connecting only to electricity. The site(#3) was on the upper level and was quite scenic...a nice spot. The site was rock and not quite level since we had to use leveling blocks to avoid having the back tires of our 39 foot motorhome lifted off the ground. Directions that we received to get to the winery and to the parking site were quite detailed and appreciated. We were towing an automobile behind the motorhome. Turns to the upper level of parking sites were a bit tight, but not difficult to manage. We each enjoyed a tasting of wines and purchased a bottle of Petite Sirah to have with a cheese pizza that we ordered...Unfortunately, the server forgot to put in our order for the pizza, so we missed out on that. This was a nice stop and we would probably stop again if returning to this area.

Hi Steven, Thank you so much for recognizing that we were "quite busy." As I stated to you in a previous message from the same review you left for us on Harvest Host, that I reviewed the video several times of your visit and I did not see where I was "curt" and you never responded with any examples of it. However, I did give you and your wife attention, explained the tasting process, gave you wine glasses and crackers. I had to walk away for a min. and asked you to "excuse me." I was taking care of another customers tasting board, I wanted to get it out of the way to take care of you and your wife at the bar. We were VERY busy. Also, I apologized that someone other than ME who forgot your pizza but also pointed out that the server and my husband came to your table, and you never said anything about your pizza not being served to you. We were bringing out pizza's constantly and would have been happy to get you one, you could have mentioned it to my husband when he came chat with you when you were sitting at the table. It only takes 2.5 min. to cook. The guest next to you received a pizza, you could have stopped the server and told her you ordered one. As you can see from previous reviews, everyone was happy with the service and their stay. As far as your spot not being at leveled as you like, unless it is cement, it will fluctuate as RV's and campers are constantly coming and going. Glad you approved and appreciated the details of our directions. I would like to recommend that if you criticize someone publicly, that you at least reply to their message privately. Your comment of me has disturbed me, especially since I have looked over the video several times and you recognized that we were "quite busy." It is our desire to serve all customers in a timely, courteous manner. We do get "quite busy" and try to deal with it in a professional manner, however, being busy and not spending enough time with customers does not mean that I was "curt." Safe travels, Libby
